The other day I was organising my children’s clothes and realised that inside their wardrobe I still keep all the baby blankets we received and bought for them when they were born. I have so many gorgeous baby blankets and every single one of them cherishes a precious moment of our life: our first cuddles, my baby’s first naps, our first days out…
The idea that some babies will never experience the comfort of a warm hygienically cleaned blanket literally breaks my heart so when I heard about the “donate a blanket campaign” I couldn’t be more supportive. Dettol and the children’s medical research charity Sparks worked together to raise awarness and to make the difference for less fortunate children across the Uk.
By donating your used baby blankets and “keep the memories, not the bacteria” you can do your bit to help underprivileged children both in the UK and abroad . Once collected, Dettol Anti-bacterial Laundry Cleanser will make sure to remove all the bacteria from the baby blankets. They will hygienically washed them before being re-distributed to families in need. And this is not it, Dettol Anti-bacterial Laundry Cleanser has also pledged to donate £1 to Sparks for every blanket collected (up to 5,000 blankets) to raise much needed funds for UK families who are affected by serious illness or disability.
